Pool Safety Inspections
The new pool compliance regime enacted by the Building and other Legislation Amendment Act (no. 2) came into effect on December 1, 2010 and requires all pool owners in Queensland to comply with stringent safety requirements and be certified as safe by a licensed Pool Safety Inspector.
You may need to arrange an pool safety inspection if:
- You are a private home owner selling, buying or privately renting a house or unit
- You are a real estate agent involved in selling or renting residential properties
- You manager a body corporate or community title property
- You operate or own an accommodation property like a resort, hotel, motel or caravan park

Has a property settlement or lease been signed on or before 1 September 2012?
